B. per E-Mail an careers@united-automationhub.com.

B. Rechtsgrundlage ist deine Einwilligung (§ 25 Abs. 1 TDDDG, Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO). Daten können an Meta Platforms Inc. bzw. This policy applies to the United Automation Hub careers page and the application form offered on it. The privacy policy published on our main website applies to that website.

Represented by its Managing Director Christian Sojka
Phone: +49 (0) 3764 57 02 43 0 · Email: contact@united-automationhub.com

2. Data protection officer
[If appointed: name and contact of the data protection officer - otherwise remove this section]
3. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd., 61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus (test environment) - update when moving to the client's hosting. When you visit the site, the host processes technically necessary data (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser, operating system, referrer) to deliver the site and keep it secure. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure, stable operation). A data processing agreement is in place with the host (Art. 28 GDPR). Log files are deleted automatically after a short period.
All fonts, scripts, images and videos are served directly from our own server. We do not use external services such as Google Fonts or content delivery networks.
4. Local storage in your browser
We only store your language choice (German/English) in your browser's local storage when you actively change it, and - if a consent banner is shown - your decision. This is strictly necessary for the function you requested (Section 25(2) no. 2 German TDDDG). Otherwise, the language is chosen based on your browser's language setting; we do not determine your location (e.g. via your IP address or GPS). To show you the matching country and nearest location first, the page reads your device's time zone setting. This happens only in your browser; the time zone is neither stored nor sent to us or third parties.
5. Applying via the online form
What data we process
- the selected position or general application, country and location,
- your answers to the pre-screening questions (driver's license, background, experience, willingness to travel, passport, work authorization, earliest start date),
- your pay expectations (not your current or past pay),
- first name, last name, email address, phone number and - optionally - a message,
- content, time and version of your consents,
- where applicable, campaign parameters from the link you used to reach us (utm_source, utm_campaign etc.), so we know which job ad works.
Driver's license question: This question is evaluated only in your browser. If you answer "no", the form ends with a notice - no data is sent to us or stored. There is no automated decision-making within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR on submitted applications; every application is reviewed by people.
Purpose and legal basis
We process your information to review your application and carry out the hiring process. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract) in conjunction with Art. 88 GDPR. Contacting you by phone, text message (SMS) and email is additionally based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time with effect for the future, e.g. by replying STOP to a text message or emailing careers@united-automationhub.com.
Transfer and recipients
The form is transmitted in encrypted form (TLS) to our server and sent from there by email to our recruiting team. Only people involved in the hiring process (recruiting, management, the relevant hiring manager) have access. [If a webhook / applicant tracking system is connected: name the provider, location and data processing agreement here]
If you apply for a position in the U.S., we transfer your application to the hiring U.S. entity, Sojka Automation US Inc. This transfer is necessary to carry out the application process you requested (Art. 49(1)(b) GDPR). [If applicable: reference to intra-group EU Standard Contractual Clauses]
Retention
We delete your application data no later than six months after the hiring process ends, unless statutory obligations or the defense of legal claims require longer retention. If you consented to our talent pool (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), we keep your information for up to 12 months to contact you about matching positions; you can withdraw this consent at any time. If you are hired, your data is transferred to your personnel file.
To prevent abuse, our server stores a one-way hash of your IP address for no more than one hour to limit the number of applications per hour (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Confirmation email
After submitting, you receive an automatic confirmation at the email address you provided (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
6. Measuring job ad performance (only with consent)
If a consent banner is shown on this page, we use the following services only after your explicit consent to measure how well our job ads perform. Without consent, these services are not loaded.
- Meta Pixel by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland. We and Meta are joint controllers for collecting and transmitting the data (Art. 26 GDPR) based on Meta's controller addendum; Meta is solely responsible for further processing.
- Google Ads conversion tracking by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Cookies or similar technologies are stored on your device and usage data (e.g. page view, submitted application as an event without form contents, IP address, device and browser information) is transmitted to the providers. The legal basis is your consent (Section 25(1) TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Data may be transferred to Meta Platforms Inc. or Google LLC in the U.S.; both companies are certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (EU Commission adequacy decision, Art. 45 GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time via cookie settings. We treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser as an opt-out.
7. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR). You can withdraw consents at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR). Just contact careers@united-automationhub.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. Our competent authority is the Thuringian State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (TLfDI), Häßlerstraße 8, 99096 Erfurt, Germany.
8. Obligation to provide data
Your contact details are required to apply, as we could not reach you otherwise. The message and talent pool consent are optional.
9. Notice to U.S. applicants
Categories of personal information we collect: identifiers (name, email address, phone number), professional and employment-related information (qualifications, experience, work authorization, availability, willingness to travel), compensation expectations, and - with your consent - internet activity related to our job ads (see section 6).
Purposes: evaluating your application, communicating with you about it, complying with legal obligations and improving our recruiting.
Sale and sharing: We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising unless you opt in via the consent banner; you can opt out at any time, and we honor Global Privacy Control signals. We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under 16.
Retention: as described in section 5.
Your rights: Depending on your state of residence (e.g. California), you may have the right to know, access, correct or delete your personal information and to opt out of its sale or sharing, without discrimination for exercising these rights. To make a request, email careers@united-automationhub.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
Text messages: If you consented to be contacted by text message, message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of employment.
Equal opportunity: United Automation Hub is an Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
